Did You Hear The News?

In a couple of weeks, we will we opening our 2010 Campaign Office at Marion Square Plaza, 7 Avenue, Marion, Iowa. We are very pleased because this office has a lot going for it: a large space, a safe location for staff and volunteers, good parking (Plaza parking lot, spaces around the City Park and Library), and it has great visibility in a high traffic area.

You may have already received an email that volunteers will be meeting at the Williams farm on Saturday, May 8, at 9am, to move our stored furniture to the office. If you can help with the move, please plan on meeting us out at the farm. If this would help coax you, we'll have donuts & juice waiting at the office for the arrival of all you hard workers.

If you can't move furniture, you can still help by donating the the usual office supplies that every campaign requires: paper, pens, markers, staplers, folders, cleaning supplies, trash cans, etc. Some folks have already been generous by loaning us a refrigerator but there are several other large items which we could really use such as a laser printer - do you have one that we might borrow?

We hope that you will be excited about this office and that you will stop in on Saturday morning to check it out. Hope to see you then.
